results in inconvenience. This would specially prove beneficial for digital fundraising
and donations such as collection of zakat and Sadaqah as it provides a favourable
way for donors to donate with a debit or a credit card, either by chip and pin
or contactless.
The world is constantly evolving and organisation need to
keep up to date and this self-service kiosk donation technology should be
adopted as they provide service that is more efficient and improves fundraising.
It also reduces better turnaround and enables donation distributions with full transparency.
Lets look into the following situation. A person visits a
mosque on a Friday for Jummah prayers, soon after he arrived at the mosque he
realised that he forgot to withdraw cash from the machine to donate to masjid.
This is not the first time it has happened to him and he really wish if there
is an alternative way that the masjid can offer to make his life easy at the
same time creating another opportunity for the mosque in reaching their
fundraising goals quickly.
A kiosk management system would have avoided the above
situation. Masjid would have accepted donation using a point of sale payment system
which collects and distribute a donation according to the user specific cause. These
kiosk systems will require minimal space and are fairly simple to use.
